We are confident this process will assist your school in both showcasing and advancing your Catholic identity! Below you will find the prerequisites necessary to participate in the application process.
be in operation for a minimum of three (3) years and, if a new school, commit to filling grades 9-12 within five years.
be formally consitituted and offer full-time instruction at the school site. On-line, or group study programs, and home school associations are not eligible to participate at this time.
have the approval of the governing board, full-time faculty representative, and head of parent group to complete the application.
have the school's President or Principal oversee the application process (must be account owner).
Applications are received on an on-going basis, with a one year time period for completion. Recognized Honor Roll schools will enjoy a five (5) year recognition period with only basic annual updates.
The application is completed in two stages:
The Pre-Application Stage. This stage is completed by the Administrator and usually takes between 1-2 hours. It involves providing basic school information and uploading student and faculty handbooks.
Formal Application Stage. Upon approval of the Pre-Application, administrators and others are invited to complete the Formal Application. This stage will take between 25-40 hours for completion.
Once Honor Roll recognition is achieved, schools must send a link to the Principles of Catholic Identity in Education to all stakeholders of the school and post a simplified copy of their Honor Roll application on their school website.
Data collected in the Honor Roll application process may be used for research purposes. All identifying information will be removed for these purposes and confidentiality of school information will be strictly maintained.
